The district hospital of Nong Het is responsible for primary health care in the mountainous north of Laos. Since 2014, it has been visited three to four times a year by our GP group. The small hospital is to be expanded step by step over several years.
In a first phase, the primitive operating room was renovated with the financial help of a foundation. On December 30, 2020, the new operating room could be ceremoniously inaugurated, and on the same day a first Caesarean section already took place.
