In 2023, the Swiss Laos Hospital Project was able to fully resume its activities, which were severely restricted during the COVID-19 pandemic. 73 volunteers were in Laos for a total of 1,761 days for our project, and many hundreds of hours of volunteer work were also carried out in Switzerland. In addition, several construction projects in Laotian provincial hospitals have been completed. Our Board of Directors was partially renewed and rejuvenated.
